Poor people in the street in N.Y.C

In the train station, 125th St in Harlem, this homeless man was setting on a bench and he was sleeping. The police explained to him that it's forbidden to sleep there. The three officers  asked this man to leave the station.

In New York City, poor people collect cans and bottles for  recycling, in the trash.  They return their cans and bottles for $0.05 each in a recycling center.

What a surprise seeing this guy with this sign!
He told me that every day he made $ 10, on average. This allows him to eat every day but for the rest ... ,  it's difficult!

French presidential election, May 6, 2012, in Paris.

In Paris,  I went to Soférino Street and Bastille Place, during  the results of the french presidential election, May 6, 2012, in Paris.

Solférino Street, next to the seat of socialist party, just after the results, we celebrated Mr François Hollande's victory, with the rose (symbol of the Socialist Party) and with champagne, of course...

All supporters of the victory went to  Bastille Place, to make a huge party, a big part of the night ...

I was close to Soférino Street, in Paris, with thousands of people, near to the headquarters of the Socialist Party, a few seconds before the results of the French presidential election. And at the end an explosion of happiness for everyone!

After Solférino Street, I went as thousands of people, to Bastille Place, in Paris,  to celebrate François Hollande's victory, our new French President.

Barcelona

Barcelona, a trip for a week. An extraordinary city with Gaudi's architectural creations. In the old town district, you take the time to walk in narrow streets. The "ramblas" are too tourist for my taste. A city with a population proud of speaking Catalan and who knows how to party. Two regrets, the first not being able to take the teleferic of Montjuic (it was not working) and the second, not being able to see a soccer game of Barça.
